By accessing hikeinhills.in or engaging our booking services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking or enquiry.
1. About Hike in Hills
Hike in Hills is a third-party booking and travel advisory service based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. We facilitate bookings for treks, hotel stays, tent camps, and homestays across Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. We act as an intermediary between travellers and service providers (hotels, camps, guides). We are not the direct provider of accommodation or trek services.
2. Booking Process
All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment or token amount as communicated during the booking process. An itinerary summary and payment confirmation will be shared via email and/or WhatsApp. Bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
3. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Prices on the website are indicative and may change based on dates, availability, and season.
- We accept payments via UPI, bank transfer, and other modes communicated during booking.
- Full payment must be received before the start of any trek or stay unless a specific installment plan has been agreed upon in writing.
4. Cancellations & Refunds

5. Traveller Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to undertake the booked trek or activity. Consult a physician before booking high-altitude treks.
- Valid government-issued photo ID is required for all travellers at check-in.
- You are responsible for obtaining any required permits, visas, or health clearances unless explicitly included in the package.
- Travel insurance covering mountain activities and medical evacuation is strongly recommended and may be required for certain treks.
- Travellers must follow the instructions of guides and camp staff at all times for safety.
6. Risk & Liability
Mountain trekking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks including altitude sickness, adverse weather, terrain hazards, and physical injury. Hike in Hills, its agents, and partner operators shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in treks or stays booked through our platform, except where caused by gross negligence on our part.
We are not liable for delays or disruptions caused by weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
